For this episode, I am joined with Christine DeLozier who is an acupuncturist & herbalist in private practice where she specializes in sexual health for all orientations and identities. Christine helps her patients develop dietary habits that support their sexual goals.

-What is acupuncture?
Medical News Today says, "Acupuncture is a form of treatment that involves inserting very thin needles through a person’s skin at specific points on the body, to various depths."

-What are the benefits of acupuncture?
It can help relieve pain, and it is used for a wide range of other complaints.

- What is "great sex"
Physiologically, great sex is when our nerves are firing strong rapid impulses to and from our genitals. It's when our blood vessels are delivering adequate blood flow. "Pleasure, climax, arousal, lubrication; they're all dependent on blood flow".

What we eat can affect how quickly our nerves carry signals to our genitals. What we eat can affect our sex hormones. Certain meals increase blood flow while other foods stiffen blood vessels! This is how our diet affects our sex life.
